Refreshed Retreat

A major renovation combined with an innovative design team took a dated interior and transformed it into a stylish cottage with a relaxed beachy feel. In the common living area, a custom reclaimed poplar built-in is both soft on the fingers and pleasing to the eye. Around the corner, more reclaimed poplar was used to build a barndoor that hides a sizeable, well-stocked pantry. Stainless steel accents creatively seam the large kitchen countertop. A curbless shower creates a transition that is both beautiful and accessible. The redwood bench, both in and out of the shower, makes a bold statement piece in the master bath.
